Come on and take it sportive, people can say whatever they want about you, but that does not have to mean it is that way. I know from myself I am hetrosexual, and if someone else thinks Im gay, so what. Let them, you know from yourself what you are and thats ok. Even IF you are gay, and I am not directing it to you DanC, don't get fired up.

I looked in my irssi and I was like yea right MidnightPyro.. you dont WANT to be floris, He's a cool guy but people always keep asking him (annoying) questions all the time. People need him all the time, and on top of that he might have his own problems and feelings. So no, thanks I wouldn't want to own the site, and I would not want to be floris. I choose other paths, just like you should do. If you want to own a good running forum like this one, you must work for it and not just "wanting to own the site because it's vbulletin.nl and that way I will be cool". Well let me tell you something, you can be user, moderator or admin, but that just doesn't have to mean people will like you because you are the siteadmin for example. Ofcource people will like you, but those are just suck-ups. The real people are those who know, understand and support you in any way. You can compare this with the real world, you know the good rendered enviroment wich exists from your keyboard. You can have friends, because you have money. But those are not friends, those people don't like you. They only want to spend time with you because you have the money, you are cool because of the same reason. But what happens when the money is all gone? You wouldn't see any of those people back in the future. Real friends don't care about money. Caring as in not accepting money above real friendship. Friends are those who are there for you, and wanting the same from you. This is why you can compare "wanting a site" with working for it and do a good job. It takes a while, yes. And you have a big change of people leaving/deserting your website. But do you really think Floris did all this just sitting on his lazy ass all day? No way, he worked for it. He is willing to put time, money and effort in this website just for us. For you out there wanting support from the real users of the vbulletin software, and not just the manpages or FAQ. I like this site, and I like floris. I dont like floris because he is the admin, I like him because we talk, talk about random stuff. And talking is so much more important than just buying a license, putting it up on your website and wait for the users. You need to promote yourself. Directing your forum in the way it is meant to be, because that's what you want.

About the banning. Daniel C, I disagree with banning him just because he called you gay. If you can't handle such critics, I don't know what you are doing here. Being a moderator is so much more than saying hello and goodbye everyday, and sometimes changing a post or moving a thread. It is about willing to direct conversations and such in a good, dynamic way. Nobody likes a moderator wich is not open for suggestions. This is findable in (real) jobs, if you aint dynamic, your out baby and for good. They dont want you, so what can you do? Be social enough for those others and take a look of it from the other way. Don't think black and white. Act when you are really sure of yourself and whenever you know what you are doing. You have the ability to kick/ban someone. Is this a sollution? No, perhaps you can discuss this with the one you disagree with. He or she will only going to think worse thoughts about you when you kick/ban him.

So what I am trying to say is: Work hard for what you want, and it will be rightfully yours, be dynamic enough to fullfill social needs enough and be yourself.
