I'll have to agree to that!

You can type perfectly understandable if you use traditional internet abbreviations like "lol", "rofl", "lmao", "afaik", "iirc", "atm", etc. You'll type faster AND ppl (<-- another inet abbrev) will understand what you're saying :P.

It will only take a few more seconds and a more relaxed mind in order to typo-free

Ofcourse, a few typo's along the way is fine I think, but reading 1/3 words and having to analyse that data .. 'skip'

Be a man and correct your own typos while typing!

But really.. the way ETSK types isn't from typing errors. It's just lazy sortof phonetic.. Anyways it looks ugly and is hard to read. Maybe he'd want to change it one day. I mean, I wouldn't use capitals and punctuation in the same correct way as I do on forums on IRC/IM. Since all I say is archived, I think the least I can do is make it look like I don't spend 5 secs to write a post. But opinions seem to differ on that.

"NYTimes reports on how common chat room/IM shortcuts (such as 'u' for you, 'r' for are, etc) are creeping into the classroom and homework assignments from those teenage kids that spend a significant amount of time in chat programs. This is giving the teachers headaches in trying to grade the assignments, much less understand them because of the techno-generation gap, and to try to prevent further abuse of the language, have begun penalizing students for using the net slang. Students sometimes don't even realize they use the chat room shorthand until it's pointed out to them, because that method of chatting has become second nature to them."
