I think we all have looked for that cheap hosting one time or another.
I know I did and what I got was a very slow site.

I like the concept of pay for what you get..lol
So I'm now paying out USD $14.99 a month, which is not that bad.

honestly I was using nullified versions but couldn't get any hacks so I said I have to have this software so I bought it. My hosting setup will be inexpensive but not cheap 12.99 month but I have no bandwidth limits with my isp so my hosting won't have neither just watch the server loads I don't want the server loads hitting the roof Now if only I could get web://cp to work I would have it made lol

I own 2 licences now, one day prolly 3 at the rate I am going.

I could not stand to use anything else.

As for web cp they not hard to get going (if linux) just takes a bit practice.

I do not aprove that you used a version of which you did not own the license. But I am glad that you realized that it is bad and that you have purchased a license.

Most have used non licensed though, it is what I did for 4 months (long ago) now I own 2 legal, so some times the means justifies the end.

As I posted on vb org, if not for the illegal one I would never came to enjoy the options and the reliability of vbulletin. *same with many other people*

Do not get me wrong $160 is not to much but it is to just spend blind.

I am not saying that it is right to run illegal but I beleive it does bring in the sales. (specialy if they can not dl hacks)

Because you think most did, doesn't make it right. As for the blind spending. With 2.2.5, they had a lite version available, and they had a online admin demo, and you could browse their forums .. enough to try out live.

The lite version was total junk.

I did not say it was right (but it did put 320 in their pocket) for me running illegal for 4 months.

I think they worked out well (in my case)

Granted not all will buy but a majority will.
