I tried to join using Trillian but couldn't really figure it out. IRC is sort of...last decade. I have no clue how to use it, as I think many newer internet users don't either.
Edit : I just joined (I THINK) the irc, but nothing happens. No idea. I have no idea how to work irc in trillian. And there's no way I'm downloading another chat program just to do this. lol

I try popping in a few times a week, although I haven't near as much as I normally do considering Floris took down the java chat. Speaking of that, wonder if he added it back up *runs to check*

Will visit if I have time, and at home, and get the energy to set up the port forwarding for only my computer, even then I have certain issues with leaving IRC ports and ports in that range open ;) just to use Mirc once and a while.

MSN IM I have open most of the time.

At work all ports of this range are closed and are never open so that will never be a possibility. But I know the reasons why, so I am cool with it.

I am on 2-3 servers almost always. On GamesNET and Dev|Core i'm always connected but i sometimes connect to IRCNet.
Also, don't get scared of IRC. If you have a good firewall and anti-virus program you should be fine.

Well maybe I am a noobhead LOL, but I do not use any form of chat :( I here all these stories of people hacking or looking at the information of your computer via chat channels. No Way for me :) I have broadband and come online when I need something, I feel more secure when I am disconnected :) LOL

ive been there since the begining and ive enjoyed most of the competitions and chatting with the vbnl regulars i wouldnt trade anything for the friends ive made and the coding help i have recived from vb's chat rooms ^^
